A Fathers’ Day Event by PSG: The Great Dads Dash!

See highlights from our Father's Day Event organised by the PSG, where dads and children had fun exploring several exciting bonding activities filled with laughter and lasting memories.

On Wednesday, 3 June 2026, the Lakeside Primary School Parent Support Group (LSPS PSG) hosted ‘The Great Dads Dash’, an exciting and lively UNO-inspired Dad-Child Challenge. The event brought together dads and their children for a morning filled with laughter, strategy, and friendly competition, all while strengthening family bonds and fostering a warm, supportive school community.

The action-packed morning kicked off at the PAL Room, where teams were briefed before embarking on an 'Amazing Race'-style adventure across six different stations throughout the school grounds. Each station was creatively themed around UNO game mechanics and designed to test participants' teamwork, communication, and physical coordination, while reinforcing the school's LPRIDE values.

The memorable morning concluded with a joyful prize and certificate presentation, celebrating top-performing teams such as our "UNO Master," "Skip Speedster," "Game Changer", as well as the dad with the funniest dad joke who claimed the "Wild Card Dad" award!

Thank you to all the wonderful fathers who took the time to join in this event. We also extend our deepest appreciation to the dedicated LSPS PSG, who made this incredibly fun event possible.
