P4 Goalball Experience

See how our Primary 4 students navigated the world of goalball athletes as they learnt how to attack goals and defend their own relying on other senses but their sight.
The P4 Goalball Experience, a collaborative effort between the PE and EL departments, allowed students to make connections between their Stellar Unit - The Paralympic Games and inclusive sports.
Goalball is a fast-paced paralympic team sport for athletes with visual impairments. During the sessions, students put on blindfolds and listened to bells chimes from the ball to attack their opponents’ goal and defend their own!
As our students stepped into the world of goalball athletes and learnt to rely on their other senses, they acquired not just knowledge of the sport but also the values of perseverance, respect and empathy.
