Our Primary 6 students gained first-hand insights into a diverse range of professions through engaging conversations with industry professionals. The ECG Career Talks inspired them to explore future possibilities and discover the many pathways that lie ahead.

P6 Students Explore Future Possibilities Through ECG Career Talks

Our Primary 6 students recently participated in the P6 Education and Career Guidance (ECG) Career Talk, an enriching programme designed to broaden their awareness of the world of work and inspire them to explore future career possibilities.

Students attended two career talks, engaging with professionals from a diverse range of fields including Research Science, Cybersecurity & AI, Healthcare, Educational & Developmental Psychology, Law Enforcement, Sports, Dance, Content Creation and Publishing. Through these authentic learning experiences, students gained valuable insights into the responsibilities, challenges and rewards of different professions, while learning about the skills, values and dispositions needed to thrive in today's workplace.

A highlight of the programme was the lively interactions between students and speakers. Students asked thoughtful questions, listened attentively to the speakers' personal journeys and reflected on how their own interests, strengths and aspirations may shape their future pathways. The programme encouraged students to remain curious, open-minded and confident as they continue exploring the many opportunities that lie ahead.
