Shanghai Penglai Road No.2 Primary School Visiting Programme

Lakeside Primary School hosted the students and teachers from Shanghai Penglai Road No.2 Primary School for two days filled with many wonderful shared experiences and fun activities. The exchange allowed students from both schools to broaden their perspectives for language, traditions and learning.
On 27 and 28 April, students and teachers from Shanghai Penglai Primary School visited our school to strengthen friendship and promote student exchange. A key focus of the visit was their “Little Young Writers Programme”, which showcases students’ creativity and achievements in writing.
On 27 April, a highlight was the Little Young Writers Book Showcase, where student authors walked the stage and introduced their newly published books. During recess, a Little Young Writers Meet-and-Greet was held, where the visiting students displayed their works, interacted with our students, and presented selected publications as gifts.
The activities created meaningful opportunities for students to connect through language and creativity, fostering a deeper appreciation for writing, cultural exchange, and peer learning.
