Students using mathematical skills to help them play the role of a defence planner at one of the activity booths

Civil Defence – Be Prepared! Students stepped into the role of defence planners as they packed emergency supplies using maths skills such as counting, grouping, and sharing equally. Through this activity, they learnt the importance of being prepared and working together during emergencies.

Military Defence – The Weight of Defence. By estimating and comparing the weight of defence equipment, students gained a deeper appreciation of the physical demands faced by our servicemen. This hands-on maths activity helped them connect numbers to real-life experiences of strength and perseverance.

Psychological Defence – Crack the Code. Students put on their thinking caps as they solve maths questions and crack secret codes! Through calm problem-solving and positive thinking, they discovered messages about staying resilient and strong in the face of challenges.
