The Code for Fun programme, a joint initiative by IMDA and MOE, aims to equip primary school students with essential digital skills for the future. Through 10 hours of engaging lessons, our P5 students got to explore computational thinking, basic programming concepts, and emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Students learned robotics by coding Sphero BOLT+ robots to perform various tasks, including creating simple games like 'rock, paper, scissors' and choreographing group Sphero dances.
Many students expressed excitement about the hands-on robotics activities, with the programme successfully introducing students to technology as creative and ethical digital citizens..
